Fiona Chen, DPM

Fiona Chen, DPM, is a board-qualified foot and ankle surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS), specializing in the comprehensive medical and surgical treatment of foot and ankle conditions. She has advanced training in elective and reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive techniques, arthroscopy, trauma, limb salvage, and diabetic foot care. Dr. Chen believes in a patient-centered approach to care and emphasizes conservative treatment whenever appropriate, working closely with patients to exhaust nonsurgical options before considering surgical intervention. When surgery is necessary, she utilizes the latest evidence-based techniques to help patients return safely to their desired level of function and activity.

Dr. Chen earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Animal Physiology from Cornell University, graduating cum laude. She went on to earn her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed her foot and ankle surgical residency at Northwell Health Long Island Jewish–North Shore, where she received comprehensive training in advanced foot and ankle surgery.
